Route description La Marmotta moutain hut

The hike to La Marmotta hut starts at the golf course in Alta Badia valley near Corvara, around which there are several car parks.

At the golf course, trail no. 25B branches off in the direction of Pralongia, which a little later becomes the wide hiking trail no. 24. It winds its way pleasantly uphill through sparse woods and gently rolling mountain meadows, which contrast enchantingly with the towering Dolomite peaks all around.

After about an hour's leisurely hike, the idyllically situated mountain hut La Marmotta invites you to enjoy a culinary journey through Ladin cuisine. While the adults sit back and relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere in or in front of the moutain hut, the children can also let off steam in the hut's own playground.

The way back from the mountain hut La Marmotta is the same as on the way there, where beautiful views of the Cir peaks, the Sass Ciampac, the Puez group and the Sassongher peak now open up.
