Panorama trail Falzes

The panoramic trail Falzes describes a beautiful arc around the sun-drenched village of Falzes near Brunico. As its name suggests, it opens up dreamy views of Falzes and the surrounding mountains.

Route description panoramic trail Falzes

The panoramic trail begins at the parish church in Falzes, behind which there are several parking possibilities.

Following the country road behind the last car park, you will soon reach a fork in the road where the panoramic trail is already signposted.

The trail is partly flat and partly climbs gently through wide meadows and fields. Finally, it enters a forest that offers beautiful views of Falzes, the towering Rocca dei Baranci behind it, and the Plan de Corones.

Since the panoramic trail is part of the theme trail "Stones tell stories", the attentive hiker gets interesting insights into the matter of stone and its manifold uses along the way. Moreover, numerous benches invite to rest and enjoy.

Finally, the panoramic trail descends, crosses the road to Kofler am Kofl and, on the opposite side of the road, turns into a farm track. A little later, this path joins the village roads of Falzes, which lead back to the starting point behind the church.
