The Roner mountain hut on the Alpe di Rodengo alp also tempts you to enjoy a stop in winter. A short, gently ascending winter hiking trail leads to this idyllically situated mountain restaurant, which has actually been called the Roner Alm since its renovation.
Route description Ronerhütte mountain hut
The winter hike to the Roner mountain hut begins at the Zumis hiking car park above Rodengo, which is subject to a fee.
From the parking lot, the wide, gently ascending winter hiking trail winds through sparse woodland and wide, snow-covered alpine meadows towards the Roner mountain hut. Along the way, picturesque views of the local mountain world unfold with the striking Sass de Putia.
After a good half hour of gentle hiking, you reach the new Roner mountain hut. It promises exquisite moments of enjoyment in a cozy atmosphere especially in winter.
The way back from the Roner mountain hut is the same as on the way there. Alternatively, you can continue to the Rastner mountain hut, to the Starkenfeld mountain hut or to the scenic Astjoch summit .
